Orange County, CA is misunderstood by most of the public. North OC is the less refined area including such places as Santa Ana, Garden Grove, Stanton, Brea, Anaheim, Orange, and Yorba Linda. The minority population in this region of Orange County is greater than almost anywhere in the nation. Southern Coastal orange county is home to many CEO's, professional athletes, movie stars, and some good old fashioned oil money. Areas not included are newport coast (new money central) and inland south orange county (Coto de Caza, Mission Viejo, Santa Margarita-These are very average places to live, not nice like the coast)
Villa Park, Cowan Heights, Orange Park Acres, Copa de Oro, North Tustin, and Anaheim Hills are the reasonable decent places to live in north OC, but the average property value in all of these places is less than 1/3 of Newport Beach's 1.7 million. These places are all at least 30 minutes from the coast and 15 to 25 degrees hotter during the day than Newport Beach in the summer time. There is also a lot of smog and traffic in these areas, while south OC residents enjoy private toll roads with little traffic and almost no trace of smog near the coast. The average reported income me be higher for two reasons: a. There is a high rate of tax fraud in newport, b. there are many surf bums living on the peninsula sharing rentals who do not make very much money.
Most south OC residents consider North OC to be an extension of nearby riverside county.

Get the orange county mug.Howard County. Columbia is one of the most richest places to live these days. What others do not realize is how Columbia is classed by schools. You have River Hill, which is know for being arrogant and wealthy. You have Oakland Mills, which is know for being "ghetto". You have Hammod, which apparently is known to either be white trash or country. Theres also Glenelg, which is out in the middle of no where, considering where everyone else is. There are also many others. I geuss the point I am trying to establish is that Oakland Mills is seen as a "ghetto" I am not saying it is not because I am sure it is, but it seems to get the bad rep. Where as you have Hammond who has a teacher who sells pot to students and River Hill whose teacher just got caught with meth and GHB. Now my question is where do you find that at Oakland Mills? Yes Oakland Mills has had there fair share of problems, such as grade changing but that on where compares to teachers and drugs, thank you. What people do not realize is that where you go to school does not really matter, your getting an education just like everyone else. Who really cares wheither you go to a rich school or a poor one, your getting the same education. So the next time you write a definition take everything into consideration, we live in a bubble where everything is classed and it seems to stay that way for one reason, people like you who decide to class people. And for the article about the "asian invasion" and black wannabes , the reason as I stated before Columbia will not change because of people like you.

Get the Stafford County mug.It's in southern Connecticut, and contrary to VERY popular belief, isn't full of beer and polos. OK so maybe it is, but not everywhere. Norwalk is NOT that ghetto. We do NOT have keg parties every other weeknight. (though acid and weed are not uncommon, oxy-contin is like not existent) Though we do get SOME ghetto points because 50 Cent owns a house in Newtown, we do not like to think we're ghetto. (at least not a majority) The only reason we are the richest county is because the land and weather is generally pleasant, people constantly move up here, and the real estate has gotten high. Therefore so has tax. Which explains our insane education program. It is very good, but what this place is TRULY filled with is emos and punks. Many of us are actually more likely to be succesful because we get the education. For many of us who have spent all our lives here, we are quite like you guys. Except smarter. The OC is most definitely worse than we are.
Many of the young population of Fairfield County spend their free time in front of high tech computers thinking of ways to tell the rest of America that they aren't rich, wannabe preppies.
