2. Gay can be used as a short was of saying "Im part of the LGBTQIA+ community" because that just takes way to long to say.
Ex: Person 1: Are you gay?
Person 2: Yes I am. You?
Person 1: I am too! Im Lesbian!
Person 2: Cool! Im Pansexual.
3. Gay can mean mlm (Men love men)
Ex: Person 1: Im Gay.
Person 2: Im also Gay.

The pride flag for homosexuals is typically a rainbow consisting of red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple, sometimes adding brown and black at the top to represent people of colour. This flag can be used to generalize all LGBTQ+ members, though. The flag for homosexual women varies. One is called the "Butch lesbian flag" which has shades of purple and grey, used to describe women with more masculine traits. The other is called the "Lipstick lesbian flag" and has shades of red and pink instead, describing lesbians with more feminine traits.
