Someone who is intellectually superior, and is sometimes bullied because of this. Nerds are usually seen as glasses wearing, calculator carrying, pocket-protecter users, but a nerd can be anyone who exceeds iintellectually. This is why they are usually prime targets for bullies. I, personally, find myself to be a nerd.

That kid is really nerdy.
