Retardation Card

An egregiously ableist slur repurposed as a rhetorical weapon to dismiss an argument by claiming its proponent must have a cognitive or intellectual disability. It suggests the argument is so stupid, poorly constructed, or obvious that only a person with severely diminished mental capacity could make it. This is among the most offensive and juvenile tactics, used to inflict maximum insult while offering zero counter-argument.

Example: If someone misinterprets a basic statistic in a debate, a hostile opponent might respond, "Wow, just when I thought your argument couldn't get dumber, you whip out the retardation card." This substitutes a vile insult for any attempt to correct the misinterpretation, aiming purely to humiliate and end the exchange.

Retarded

This is an overused word in modern culture. When used as an adjective it can refer to someone or something that has limited mental capacity or something that is perceived to be stupid. It's often misused to disparage people with limited mental capacities as retarded people actually work hard despite their mental issues, but regular people that constantly make the same mistakes or lack the ability/desire to learn concepts properly are retarded!

Many hipsters often think everything is retarded as they cannot speak a sentence without its usage, especially since it's useful in showing displeasure. Hey, your clothes are retarded! Stop wearing tacky clothes! Many corrupt retarded people are political officials/cops as they either can hire people to work for them or judge things in a simplistic way. Nowadays, more politicians are being elected with limited educational backgrounds and it's not surprising they struggle to explain their positions as they are retarded! Many cops are experts at devouring donuts/breaking traffic rules/taking bribes/ racial profiling/ arresting innocent people or shooting innocent people, but lack the ability to think critically as that is why they jump to conclusions/make arrests on suspicion given it's part of their training and explains why many cops are retarded.
