A highly attractive male or female. Usually used to describe a man who is not physically pleasing but not ugly. Even though a MUM is physically challenged they can be seen as attractive simply because of their wealth and the way they carry themselves.

To have a verbal contest over progressively worse mum jokes. It usually goes around full circle before someone gets mummed-out.

Kevin: Your mum's a slapper.
Joe: Your mum is a bigger slapper!
Kevin: Your mum invented being a slapper!
Joe: Your mum wrote the slapper's handbook!
Kevin: Your mum followed every move in the handbook!
Joe: Are you challenging me to a mum-off?

The Mums

The psychological sickness one contracts when Mumfords and Sons backs out as the headliner of the music festival you're attending. Symptoms include, but are not limited to: intermittent frowning, being teased by your peers and randomly storming off in the middle of the show that replaced Mumford and Sons.

"Janet was really looking forward to seeing Mumford and Sons play at Bonnaroo this year. When they were suddenly replaced with Jack Johnson, she came down with a bad case of The Mums."
