Lyndon State College
A small college in a small vermont town commonly know as lyndonville. In the winter, Lyndon State College is home to the famous Ice Penis fountain. Despite the rules that limit such activity, students can always be found having partied the night away. Hungover skiing is a popular sport durring winter months, but dont worry when the weather is warmer you can always take a midnight dip in the pond which is home to questionable creatures.

Community College
A place where I went as a hope to transfer to a university as a junior. I earned an associates degree in three different subjects, and I soon realized that there are absolutely no employers who really give a rat's ass about an AA degree. I got accepted to a UC school that costs 27k a year and had to decline my admissions due to the cost.
College is simply too time consuming and expensive for what it is. Many of my buddies are graduating with BA's, MA's and are in some serious, reversible debt reaching close to 100k. Don't fall into the trap of thinking college is the only way to be successful. Create your own business or invest the money into something else besides a degree. Buy real estate in this down market and cash out kids.

What we don't understand is that there isn't a mysterious job market that opens up to us when we graduate from a Community College or University. It's just the same o' lame minimum wage corporate jobs that you could get without a degree anyway. Avoid the dogmatic trap and do something more beautiful.

Saint Michael's College
In Colchester, Vermont...about 10 minutes from UVM and downtown Burlington. It's a 45 minute drive to Smuggs and students get $30 season passes.
Saint Mike's is the greatest with the nicest, friendliest people and a very tight-knit community. They promote volunteer opportunities, wilderness programs, campus ministry, many Study Abroad opportunities, and various other campus clubs and programs.

Columbia College
A film school in Chicago, Columbia COLLEGE is a much different beast than Columbia UNIVERSITY. People who don't make the distinction run the risk of expectations falling flat when the difference comes to be known.
While not a prestigious college, Columbia College is still the largest art/film school in the country and is synonymous with such names as Kanye West, Andy Dick, and Pat Sajack.
The attendance in past years has skyrocketed with GPAs ranging from 1.0-4.0, which can at times be discouraging. Just know that if you're an intellectual attending the school, you aren't alone and you will notice that the idiots mostly drop off after freshman year. Those who are serious generally succeed.
