we are people who come from italy. we have a LOT of different spoken dialects and cultures and were blessed with a beautiful language.
the definitions that say derogatory things against people who aren't italian make me wanna puke.
so no, MOST of us aren't as bad as we might seem from these god-awful definitions. of course, we have flaws, but we're decent people, y'know? the people on here that put down others and act as if italians are the only people who get stereotyped make me want to roll up into a ball and become korean /j
also, if you happen to be one of the *probably* few people that believe we're some sort of super intelligent beings, let me educate you.
while we do have an extremely rich cultural history that should be known and respected, unfortunately we are no longer like that.
yes, most of us are very smart and fun people to be around! we have, as you've probably heard before, great values, great family, great food, etc. but that doesn't speak for every italian.
for example, i'm literally a furry, neopronoun user and weeb... a.k.a , NOT what people would expect when they think of an italian girl.
i apologize on behalf of my entire nationality for the terrible people who think that italians are better than everyone and think it's okay to put down other cultures just because they like their own.
