Indirect Dating

Indirect dating is a form of romantic connection that may appear to others as a friendship. The mutual attraction likely isn’t acknowledged, each party probably has a suspicion the other is attracted to them. There’s no direct affection shown as in Direct Dating, such as public display of affection, a physical intimacy, etc.

Bob and Mary have been indirect dating (definition: not actually dating) for like 6 months man, I’m pretty sure they’re into each other and are a little flirty but they’re def not banging.

Indirect aggression

Doing everything to say fuck you to somebody without saying fuck you, or doing everything to indicate that somebody wants to pick a fight with somebody without actually starting one. Indirect agression isn't entirely passive, so it's not passive aggressive. The person is actively looking for trouble, they are just doing so in an indirect way.

He/she was a master of indirect aggression tactics.
