Fans of lyrical rappers, (preferably white, or explicitly lyrical{mumble hating} rappers) who think that their genre of rap is the only good genre and will openly mock other people who like mumble rap, even when the majority is against them, and in that case will complain online, or at said situation about how they dislike "new rap" and are the only people in their generation who likes classic rap(see filthy frank in "BORN IN THE WRONG GENERATION" ). Favorite rapper lineup is usually along the hOlY tRiNiTy (Eminem, Logic, and Joyner Lucas) and sometimes includes other rappers that Eminem collaborated with (D12, Bad meets Evil, 50 cent, Dr Dre, and other people remotely related to Eminem's career) and usually hates rappers who have lyrics remotely unintelligible. these people have a word for mumble rap, which is a stupid pun for rap, and crap, calling it mumble (c)rap, and this term will sometimes be used ironically to mock stans by people who like all rap.

Get the Gangsta rap made me do it mug.A very sheltered community of rap music involving white rappers and their predominantly white audiences who support them. White kids love white boy rap because it is easier for them to connect with and believe their artists to be far greater and more talented than their music truly is. White rappers who fall into this category generally come from enigmatic backgrounds and usually don't fit into the mold of the hip hop community as a whole. All white boy rappers are white, but not all white rappers are white boy rappers. White boy rappers are artists who aren't well known or well received outside of white circles due to many reasons.
Artists who may be considered dominant in this community include: Macklemore, Mac Miller, Asher Roth (In his prime), and less relevant garbage including the likes of Hoodie Allen, T-Mills, Sammy Adams, and other rappers from this tier of whom I refuse to mention because of their sheer lack of skill and obvious attempts at compromising the listenability of good rap just to cash in.
There are other forms of white rappers which we all may simply call "rappers." These are artists who stay true to their craft in one way or another and work to both innovate and freshen hip hop in a positive way. These rappers generally make good music which can be received well amongst rap audiences of all backgrounds and races. Some examples include Eminem in his prime, Action Bronson, as well as underground artists like Atmosphere and Brother Ali.

Get the white boy rap mug.Gangsta rap was formed...i think it was '87 maybe earlier by N.w.A., the niggas wit attitude. people often get rap and gantsa rap confused when they say all rap glorifies rape, murder, women as sex objects, guns, etc...however when you hear these lyrics you are listening to gantsta rap, not just normal rap. gangsta rap is credited as the reason why hip hop music is so controversial. lately, gangsta rap has become much more tame (although it is still pretty hardcore, look at DMX) then the days of NWA.
If you hate hip hop and think it is all about bad shit, look at some other rappers that are not in gangsta rap, for example chamillionaire, paul wall, mos def, etc
