A place offten mentioned in every day use, speakers corner is where London's pseudo intelectuals congregate. At first I thought it would be a civil lecture, similar to the one's which are offered academicaly. In reality, it turned out to be a dozen or so diferent homeless-looking men talking about mainly religon and politics. There's so much noise you can't entirely understand what their trying to say; but what you do hear is an obviously biased ranting from someone with nothing better to do on their sunday morning. While all these men ramble about their diferent delusions, they share one common trait; which being, deep longings for societal status (albeit imagined). One wouldn't say not go there if you're in London, but beware what you'll hear will be ill-informed, and likely of religous nature. Why it's famous is uknown, but we do know that only a fool would attend for pleasure. Regardlessly, it's a frequent allusion in english speaking countries, as is Westminster abbey's poets corner.

The unshaved man in his late fifties, spent the entire morning preaching at speakers corner, to apathetic tourists, while unbeknownst to him, no one gave a shit. Ten years later he'd die of lung cancer with never any awareness of his delusions of grandeur.

Randy: I tried to text "Let's get drunk" But Apple changed it to "Let's vote Trump." She ghosted me.

Political correctness

A way of censorship and judgment by following what the society establishs it's right or wrong, without giving the events, the ideas or the decisions that are being judged the depth it deserves. Political correctness is most of the time related with left ideologies, but it depends on the country and the subject. In America for example, people use to care more about black people than women, ergo, most of the time, political correctness with black people issues more than women issues. In the other hand, in Mexico people use to care more about women issues than indian community issues, so political correctness is applied to women issues and not to indian issues. Also, an overlooked aspect of political correctness is that, in some cases, it's applied in a way that people don't realise about it, given to the fact that political correctness is only associeted with left ideologies. I'll give some examples of political correctness being used by the liberal part of the population and the conservative> part of the population.

“Mary got laid with more than 30 men and she's only 23, what a whore!”, this is an example of political correctness by conservative people.

“In this new book by Marty R. Jefferson, three black men steal a liquor store and kill the owner, it's such an offense to black people by using such a racist stereotype.” this is an example of political correctness by liberal people.

“Heard Liv is a feminist now, so sad, now she spents her days yelling nonsense at rallies, she's only looking for a good fuck.”

“Have you seen Joker already? My god what an awful movie. The main character, Arthur, is such an incel!”

cynical correctness

To find tenuous and contrived reasons to be offended by statements or actions of others.

Example: "He didn't use a gender neutral term, so he is both sexist and transphobic" when really he is just bad at grammar. The person who said this was preaching cynical correctness
