switching my plates

Beck uses this terminology in the lyrics of "hell yes". I believe it means to change vinyl records on turntables when DJing. "Cleaning the floor" could also be a DJ-centric piece of terminology. "My beat is correct" definitely relates to DJing, hence my belief that "Switching my plates" is another way of relating the kinetic act of playing vinyl records on two turntables.

"Hell yes...
now I'm calling you out, I'm switching my plates...
Hell yes...
now I'm cleaning the floor, my beat is correct"
