Post-shore Depression

Non-psychotic depression occurring during the first few hours/days after watching new episodes of Jersey Shore. The sufferer may feel worthless, without purpose, distraught and in extreme causes suicidal in the belief that their sole reason for being has been taken away from them. Usually following a short period of elation due to the extreme attachment the sufferer has to the TV show and the fulfilment of their desire, much like an addiction. The depression most often occurs when the subject realises they have, in fact, a whole week to wait for another new episode and have to go 'cold turkey' for this time.

down the shore

What everyone from Jersey and Pennsylvania calls going to the beach. Don't tell me people for Jersey don't say this cause I lived here all my life and trust me 97% of the people call it the shore. the other 3% being transplants from other states. There is nothing wrong with calling it the beach. Honestly I like the term beach better but it doesn't matter. La playa, shore, beach. whatever you call it it is fucking awesome.

Californian: Dude let's go to the beach

north shore

A wealthy area off of Chicago and on the lake. Known for expensive cars, large homes, and lake-front properties, this exclusive area is not quite as bad as most assume, and the schools in the area give an excellent education to the lucky children who live there.
