"Fresh-Off-The-Boat". This term is generally used to refer to foreigners who have recently arrived/immigrated to the country but have not yet assimilated to the country’s social norms, language/accent etc.. FOBS can be visually and audibly identified in an instant; their mannerisms strongly reflect their native land.
