A period in American History so named because of the uprise of a minority who valued and embodied narcissicism and greed with a complete disregard for morality scientific evidence environmental protections and civil rights in favor of an increasing fascist way of life benifitting only the few and resembleing the novel "1984" At this juncture it is unclear how long this era will last and whether or not a democracy will survive it tumult.
