Pigeon Clappers can most commonly be found on the upper balconies of government assisted apartment compounds. Pigeon clappers are often found in areas such as Compton, California, The Bronx, New York, and New Orleans, Louisiana. As well as many other low income neighbourhoods of the United States.

A Pigeon Clapper has one or more of the following traits.

-Suspicious
-Dishonest
-Shifty
-Smelly
-Athletic
-Un-Educated
-Cheap or just poor
-has curly hair
