Very underrated and talented band. Great singer, great guitarist, great drums and bass. Go to a live show, you WILL NOT regret it!
Too bad Scott Stapp had to climb out of his hole and organize a damn Creed reunion tour- just when Alter Bridge was taking off. No worries though- once Creed (aka the Scott Stapp show) fails, A.B will pick up where they left!

burn one's bridges

To leave all of your friends and acquaintances behind; to cause permanent damage in your relationships.

The idea is that there people who form bridges to your past. If you forget or insult them, you have burned all of your bridges to the past, and can never go back.

1) Even though you're quitting your job tomorrow, try not to burn one's bridges. You never know when you'll need help in the future.

2) There may be a conflict of interest if I work with both companies. Of course I don't want to burn one's bridges, so I should choose one company and let the other know that I can't work with them.

Log Bridge

When a piece of feces produced is long enough to span from one side of the toilet bowl to the other, with sufficient rigidity to fully suspended itself above the water. This is reminiscent of a fallen tree over a gorge that is so cliche in movies.

"What happened to my toothbrush?"

donkey bridge

A mental tool to make a connection between one idea and another, specifically for simple ideas that only a donkey would need help remembering. A mnemonic is an example.

Professor: B-cells mature in the Bone marrow while T-cells mature in the Thymus. B with B and T with T. That's a simple donkey bridge for you to remember when studying the immune system.
