In an internet forum, this is when somebody posts something either highly controversial or just plain ignorant or stupid in a forum thread, or willfully derails a thread, thus inviting other forum posters to make all the return cheap shots and scornful insults they at the poster making the remark or post for being ridiculous, asinine, or beyond the pale.

Popcorn Movie

An infamously subjective term that refers to certain movies that don't carry much intellectual depth but packed with action, excitement, and enough appeal to a massive audience.
Perhaps the term originated from the 1994 film, "I'll Do Anything" has the scene where the movie producer says "I don't make movies that sell cappuccino in the lobby. I make popcorn movies."

Movie fan: Twister and Independence Day are without a doubt, popcorn movies. Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Jaws, however are not.

Average person: Ugh. WHAT?! You don't even know what that means!

When you let out a long, silent fart in a crowded elevator. You wait until the elevator door closes and then say, "Hey, does anyone smell popcorn?" You smile as you hear everyone in the elevator inhale through their nostrils in unison.

Pocporn

Pocporn is an alternative way to say "popcorn". They are usually said by people who aren't fluent with the english language. Do not get confused when you hear these miss pronunciations. Other miss pronunciations may include "popporn" or "pocorn".

Tom: Hey Bitch, go make me some pocporn!
Kate: What the hell is pocporn?
Tom: Sorry, i mean popcorn.
Kate: ah ok..sure hunny.
