Poetic flowing rhyme that plays a beat in your head while reading it. Not quite a poem, not quite a lyric but a little of both.

Poemelt from my sweet Miss J
Outside the snow is glistening...
And my heart just breathes a sigh.
How I wish that you were here,
To hold me close, just you and I .
I'd wrap my arms around you,
Gently pull you to my chest.
Then kiss you very softly...
My heart full of tenderness.
Yes, I'd hold you close forever,
As a tear escapes my eye...
Because of all I'm feeling,
Of all the years gone by.
How I long to hold and touch you,
Clasp your tender hand in mine,
Outside today it's snowing...
But there's a fire in this heart of mine.
Outside the snow is glistening...
And my heart just breathes a sigh.
How I wish that you were here,
To hold me close, just you and I .
I'd wrap my arms around you,
Gently pull you to my chest.
Then kiss you very softly...
My heart full of tenderness.
Yes, I'd hold you close forever,
As a tear escapes my eye...
Because of all I'm feeling,
Of all the years gone by.
How I long to hold and touch you,
Clasp your tender hand in mine,
Outside today it's snowing...
But there's a fire in this heart of mine.

I sing a song and my troubles go away- they melt away like the snow of yesterday
The minty fresh grass is sparkling from the previous night's rain
