The picture manager usually will tell their "employee" to take certain pictures in certain outfits and in certain poses. The "employee" will send them to the Picture Manager first then he'll approve of them. As payment, the "employee" will obey and receive rewards.

Picture Squat
The rather strange “squeezing in” squat you see performed, mostly by women, where the individual or individuals squat down in front of a crowd during a photograph as of they feel theyre not fitting into the picture. It is believed by the person being photographed that the photographer has no ability to tell them whether or not they’re in the photo so they assume they have to squat in an effort to “squeeze in” making themselves look pretty stupid.
This pose can ruin photos pretty quickly when there are multiple people performing it. It even degrades further when only one side of the photo showcases the pose while the other side seems to have brains and know how to trust in the photographer.
