A bias that treats Western formal logic—particularly classical logic with its laws of non-contradiction, excluded middle, and deductive validity—as if it were neutral, universal, and the only legitimate form of reasoning. The Neutral and Impartial Logic Bias ignores that logic has a history, that different cultures developed different logical systems, and that classical logic itself is a particular tradition with its own assumptions. It presents "logic" as a pure, context-free tool, erasing the power relations embedded in what counts as logical. Those with this bias don't see themselves as using one logic among many; they see themselves as using logic itself. Everyone else is illogical, irrational, or confused.
"Their reasoning doesn't follow classical logic, so it's invalid." Neutral and Impartial Logic Bias: treating one logical tradition as logic itself. The speaker never considered that other logics exist—fuzzy logic, paraconsistent logic, indigenous logics. Their logic was just logic; everyone else was wrong. The bias isn't in the logic; it's in the certainty that this logic is the only one."

A bias that treats Western conceptions of rationality—instrumental reason, means-end calculation, cost-benefit analysis—as neutral, universal, and beyond critique. The Neutral and Impartial Rationality Bias ignores that rationality has been defined differently across cultures and historical periods, that the Enlightenment's rationality was shaped by particular social conditions, and that Western rationality has been used to justify colonialism, exploitation, and domination. It presents "rationality" as a pure standard, erasing its history and politics. Those with this bias don't see their rationality as one tradition; they see it as rationality itself. Everyone else is emotional, irrational, or pre-modern.
"Be rational," he said, meaning "calculate costs and benefits like a Western economist." Neutral and Impartial Rationality Bias: treating one form of reasoning as Reason itself. He didn't see that other rationalities exist—relational rationality, ecological rationality, spiritual rationality. His rationality was just rationality; everyone else needed to catch up."

Neutral-Contact

A person (typically a paraphile) who is neutral on acting on sexual interests. This especially applies to paraphilias that are harmful when acted on, such as pedophilia, zoophilia, necrophilia, etc. If someone says they are neutral-contact, that typically means they are completely neutral on if you act on your paraphilia.
Person 1: I am a neutral-contact pedophile. I am neutral on if you are in a relationship with a minor as an adult, I don't care.

Joker's neutral special

A plain and simple model gun. Often used to make fun of the simple weapon, the fact that Kirby can copy the gun, and anything in between.
For Joker's neutral special, he wields a gun.

White Trash Neutral

A term - not unlike "carbon neutral" of global warming fame - which is used to describe a point system for the rating of your white trash tendencies.
I just slammed a Heineken(+1) Tall Boy(-1), leaving me at White Trash Neutral for the day...

Chaotic Neutral

Chaotic Neutral is freedom from both society's restrictions and a do-gooder's zeal.

Chaotic neutral characters follow their whims. They are individualists first and last. They value their own liberty but do not strive to protect the freedom of others. They avoid authority, resent restrictions, and challenge traditions. Chaotic neutral characters don't intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, they would have to be motivated either by good (a desire to help people) or by evil (a desire to hurt people).

Chaotic neutral characters may be unpredictable, but their behavior is not totally random - they are not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it. However, they do act on momentary whims, and are known to be unreliable. As some would say, "the only reliable thing about them is that they cannot be relied upon!"

Chaotic Neutral is sometimes considered the "purest" form of chaos, without bias in favor of good or evil.
A wandering rogue who lives both by work for hire and petty theft, an eccentric mage who experiments with dangerous magic just to view the results, and a con-artist or hustler who plays all sides against the middle to further his own aims are all examples of chaotic neutral characters.
