A Newman Frat is an student organization initiated in Newman hall and typically operates within a college environment. It’s membership is restrictive although non-mutually exclusive, and admittance into the organization requires doing some fucked up shit under the Newman CCTV system.

Randy Newman

An influential singer-songwriter who is best known for writing the soundtracks for numerous films, including Ragtime, the Meet the Parents trilogy, and numerous Disney films. He has frequently been lampooned by shows such as Mad TV and Family Guy due to his physically awkward appearance, "goofy-sounding" singing voice, and the homogeneous sound of his music. Many people underestimate his talent particularly as a result of the third reason he is so widely parodied in the media. However, many of these same people have probably never paid any attention to the lyrics of his songs, which are incredibly profound and greatly overshadow the relative simplicity of his musical skills.

Randy Newman is not unlike Bob Dylan. He's not a great singer, musician, nor is he particularly good-looking. However, he is a lyrical genius who can touch on some of the deepest human emotions as well as incorporate deep social commentary.

An English nickname used to describe someone with great skill and talent, or a person with a very high degree of street rep and 'cool'. The word 'nehman' is actually named after the German word 'nehm' which means 'to take', which sort of means that this person is highly capable of thieving. Most of these Nehman folk are actually apprenticed by Hermes himself. A Nehman can usually make a girl fall just at the mention of a name.

nepman

NEP-man. A capitalist pig, slacker, and over all scoundrel. This term was used to describe the entrepreneurs who profited from the new economic policy (NEP) that was introduced after the Russian civil war. Since the NEP was seen as contrary to the revolution, being called a nepman (or woman) was a grievous insult in Bolshevik Russia.
