A fandom is a large group of fans who support a specific show, band, celebrity, game, etc. They commonly have a shared name (ex. BTS/A.R.M.Y, Ariana Grande/Arianators, Eminem/Stans).

"Hey, what are BTS supporters called?"
"I thought you would know, their fandom is huge. They're called A.R.M.Y."
