A zoomers ransom

Derivative of "a king's ransom".

A zoomer's ransom is an amount of money which surpasses the normal value of an object due to the perceived value by a zoomer.

The correct value is unknown to a zoomer due to not having an accurate historical context because of their age. A Millennial might knows that the "Duck Hunt Super Mario" for NES is worthless due to experience (seeing several copies in pawn shops for a penny circa 2003 for example) a Zoomer thinks this item is valuable and is willing to pay a Zoomer's ransom for it (for example $50). Their perception is created by Retro Gaming YouTubers and other con artists (also known as reseller scum).

"I could get a zoomer's ransom for that damaged copy of Majora's Mask"

"Oh no, AVGN just did another video about the Dreamcast. It's going to cost a Zoomer's ransom for one now!"

Ransom-Note Report

The style of reporting that has grown rapidly in popularity since the establishment of the FOX News company. This type of reporting cuts tiny pieces of real stories out of their surrounding context and reassembles them in a way that they can't be scrutinized easily and the assembled product has no truthful connection to the host story, (but they do get the Ransom-Note Reporter paid).

All that was left of that Reverend Wright sermon was the Ransom-Note Report after FOX News had their way with it. They sure know how to cut you without getting caught.

Michelle Obama's college term paper got used to make a Ransom-Note Report by some scared white people. They're all forwarding it around like it was important. Somebody sure is trying hard to keep the Whitehouse white.

Shoot, all that Bill O'Really guy does is Ransom-Note Reporting. He wouldn't have a job if he had to tell the truth.

Randem

A play on the word Random, the o replaced with e because thats totally random. Randem is the term to describe a level of humour so low that it only appeals those who watch Vine compilations that were only vaguely funny back in 2014.. They never make sense in the context of the scene, usually to make the reader, viewer or player think "wow that was soooo randem! XD", it is often used as a last resort when the writers are too lazy to think of anything actually funny. Randem things are often loud, obnoxious and are mercifully over as soon as it starts to satisfy kids with attention spans of at least 1.89 seconds. Randem humor is made to invoke the XD reaction subtype, a specific type of reaction that is used when the brain doesn't have the mental capabilities to process why something has happened or why it was funny so it will just default to making the XD.

Person A: "Look at this randem video I found! XD"
Person A: *Sends a randem video*
Person B: "Wow thats so funny and randem! XD"
