Ribbin'

Slang from the 1990's to early-2000's in Milwaukee (and other cities in the midwest and south, i.e. Chicago) which is the equivalent of what kids call "roasting" in this day and age. If someone was trying to make fun of you or "clown" you they were ribbin' or "trying to rib."

Darell: "What'd you say about my shoes? I know you not tryin' to rib with that dusty ass weave in yo head."
Laquesha: "Oh really, you ribbin'? Yo dark ass look like Wesley Snipes walking around with some $5 bobo's on trying to talk shit, smh. And go put some lotion on with your ashy ass elbows."
