Get the Google-and-confirmmug. The "google" tab or other neutral tab you have open in a browser between your work tabs and your personal tabs. Thus meaning if a work tab is closed, a blank tab is shown without exposing the tabs open for personal use such as shopping, lolcats, etc.
The boss came into my office as I closed a tab in firefox, luckily for me I had a Google Divider in between the work bank tab, and my ebay shopping tab.
