Book Doctor

1. One who has received a Ph.D. in Literature or of a single language of the world. They are usually college professors seeing as there is no other possible practical application for getting a Ph.D. in such disciplines; they also make very small salaries due to their overall lack of need to society.

2. One who gets his/her Ph.D. for the sole purpose of being called "Doctor."

3. Not a REAL Doctor

bush doctrine

Not an actual doctrine such as the Monroe Doctrine. Simply, a term used to describe what President Bush has done in response to Septemeber 11th. This covers the Patriot Act and wiretapping, Guantanamo Bay, and the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. Overall, it describes how President Bush has attempted to combat terrorism at home and abroad.

The Bush Doctrine, although nonexistant, outlines how president Bush planned to combat terrorism throughout the world.

Dry Docking

Flushing the toilet and then turning off the water supply resulting in a dry toilet. Then you take a shit so it sticks directly to the bowl and will not come clean easily, especially if it's there for while.

Jimmy gave my toilet a dry docking. I had to use an ice scraper to get the bowl clean.
