Get the Google-Imaging mug.A portmanteau of "The Grim Reaper" and "Googling," this term describes when you Google long lost friends, extended family members, coworkers or even enemies to see if they are still alive. Typically this is done by inputting their name along with "obituary" into a search engine such as Google to see if anything comes up. This is sometimes--but ertainly not always--done in order to experience a feeling of schadenfreude.
"I went grim googling last night and found out that the first boss I ever had at my first job is now dead."
