Grand National

A phrase used to describe an undesirable outcome of a mix when the beats clash due to the two tracks not being correctly in time. The resulting output of beats at irregular times is likened to multiple horses running, and hence the phrase Grand National.

"Grand National!" - simple shout to make others aware that the shoutee has in fact identified some poor mixing skills by the DJ.

"That first tune was pretty sweet but there was a massive Grand National at the end of it."

While the newer models have become more respectable and attractive, the models from the early 90s prove that Pontiac did not focus on form or function in its design. They are known to be unreliable, and are very unstable at speeds above 80 mph. The transmission is short-lived, and in third gear the entire ride will shake when your foot is not on the accelerator. The newer models have also improved the color options. They have expanded the spectrum to include more than just vintage-white, metallic aqua (made extremely popular by its cheap price due to it being extremely tacky), red, blue, and black.

Phil - "Hey Chris, can we take your 1992 Pontiac Grand Prix to school?"

Gran Fren

1. A "grand friend". The best friend you could ever have. They make you very happy and want to do silly things, like dance a crazy dance, or sing a song about oatmeal. When extremely happy, you say the term "gran fren" in baby talk, to let your friend know how much you actually care about them.

2.When you walk the mall, and you see someone you highly admire, or think looks really funny. Showing your admiration, you shout "Oh, Gran Fren!"
