Indigenous tree of Ohio "the Buckeye State" whose nut is poisonous. Also the mascot of The Ohio State University. Is a term used for anyone attaching themselves to The Ohio State University's athletics as a fan, student or athlete.

I was born a Buckeye and I will die a Buckeye. And the way the Buckeyes have been playing, I'm gonna die a Buckeye quicker than I thought!

A phrase that is commonly used when ordering an acquaintance to refrain from any frantic behavior, using an image of calming one's internal bucket.

Person #1: "Oh my god, I don't know how I'm going to pay for my bills, child support, and not to mention my tuition for community college!!! What the hell am I supposed to do?!"

Person #2: "Dude, calm your bucket."

Person #1: "... What?!"

Person #2: "Calm your bucket"

Person #1: "What the hell is that supposed to mean?!"

Person #2: "Just calm your f*cking bucket!!!"

A computer geek euphemism for a void or great beyond. That is, dead people go to heaven or hell, but dead bits go into the bit bucket. Also associated with the null device, /dev/null.

I deleted the file so now it's in the bit bucket in the sky.
