He will often wear hot topic style clothes of old punk and metal bands to try and impress the real men in his life; However real men with see him as the poser he truly is.

Get the hipster seanmug. Someone who acts very much like a hipster without even trying. Most if not all their favorite books, movies, video games, etc will be completely non-mainstream or obscure. They don't normally like things that are mainstream but unlike a traditional hipster it's not just for the arbitrary reason that they are mainstream.
