While Oomf is usually a more general term, Favoomf is used when referring to a specific user or group of users.

A very biased behavior where a person who is likely highest-in-command treats a person unfairly, apparently or sometimes regardless of reputation, etc. Imagine a person getting a promotion in a certain workplace/workshop for being a favourite.
