However, modern western society already has gender equality under the law in all aspects, so feminism strives for higher, not equal, rights.

A common misconception is that its goal is equality. That is the goal of egalitarianism.

Feminism has often attempted to bite more than it can swallow: trying to assimilate the atheist, homosexual, trans communities and other minorities that never asked for their 'help'.
