Poser

A person that believes heavily in cliques or social status, therefore acting differently around other people just to fit in. Posers usually end up having little or no friends in the end, because of these factors.

When people are not around:

Friend: Don't you think Star Wars is better than Titanic?
Poser: Hell yeah.

When people are around:
Friend: Don't you think Star Wars is better than Titanic?
Poser: Dude you're really gay.

Poserrific

Being poserrific try as hard as humanly possible to correctly pose others behavior. They maintain the highest amount of sarcasm possible whilst doing so, in a desparate attempt to be somewhat believable. Often found in those who are stuck up, emos, scenesters, those that lack confidence, 16 year old girls, 13 year old boys, and anyone else who is trying too hard. Those who correctly maintain a poserrific state for long periods of time are "doing it right."

Alex pretended to laugh along with the crowd, but unbeknownst to him, the entire crowd knew he was being poserrific. The crowd then proceeded to laugh at, throw bottles/stones at, hang, tar, feather, crucify, and set fire to alex for his poserrific behavior.

a person who acts fake just to fit in. now dont get me wrong, some people will be hipocritical and asume that your a poser even though some people arent. NOTE: just because u wear black does not automaticly make u a goth poser!!!!! so stop being the person who goes around judging people just because of there personality >_>. the word poser gets misused now a days. if someone comes in and wears a mcr band shirt and never herd of the band. thats a poser! but if a real person comes in with an mcr shirt and gets callled a poser than people are just being hipcritcal bitches. X_X. dont be to quick to judge someone cause ull never know if there posing or not. BUT if u know for a FACT they are posers than go ahead :)

Poser

One who comes on Urban Dictionary to define 'poser' due to the fact that they are insecure about themselves. This term is throw around so much that it barely has an actual meaning, seeing as everyone needs to try to point the finger at who is a poser and who isn't. It's extremely pathetic and immature.

The majority of people on U.D. are in fact posers.
