For (baked good) use items that get stale, like bread or bagels.

A stale baked good. The hardness from being stale substitutes for actually toasting it.

I went to the convention, but all they had to eat was Poor Man's Toasted (baked good)'s because it was poorly funded.

An expression interjected immediately after communicating something complimentary, slightly or very cheesy, nice, and/or possibly suck-up-ish to someone's face (most likely in a group setting) about that person. (Similar to a formal toast at a wedding or special event.)

boy: "Hey, Candace, there is this girl in one of my classes who could be your long lost twin!"

girl: "Haha that's cool. You should befriend her; she can be like my replacement while you're away at college."

boy: "No one could replace you, Candace. You're the coolest! Boom Toasted!"
