DAMN Moment

DAMN is usually used as a swear word, but in the real world when something didn’t happen the way we wanted it to happen then we generally have the mind set of DAMN! Many times in our lives we have moments or do things that we wish we hadn’t have done, or if we had the chance to do it over again we would’ve done it a different way. As a result it becomes a regretful moment, but the problem is we continue to have these moments over and over again without learning from the consequences.

DAMN Moments are moments in your life that made you say or think, DAMN! Usually a bad decision or missed opportunity, and if you had a chance to go back and do it differently you probably would’ve have done things a lot different.

Edman Moment

An Edman Moment is when someone goes to any extent to prove their point.

Eg, Lying and spreading false information, False Flagging , making up non-existent terminology, nitpicking and reaching.

An Edman moment usually results in embarrassment and comedy to bystanders.

Post an Edman Moment most people will not take you seriously

A person having an Edman moment can simply be called "Edman"

"He really pissed me off with his Edman Moment"

"Ignore him, he's just having an Edman moment"
"He had a massive Edman Moment, he should really chill, it's not that deep"

Ozymandias Moment

The moment in writing where a character, usually the main character, loses everything or realizes they've lost everything, especially after they have gained more than what they originally had in terms of financial and material wealth, power and notoriety, fame, etc. Named after the sonnet of the same name, in which the once great Ozymandias has been reduced to a crumbled statue.

Ace's Ozymandias Moment was very impactful in showing that he bit off more than he could chew, and paid the price.

Sticky Moment

This is the moment after masturbating, you go outside to smoke a cigarette or something else without washing your hands and someone usually a friend approaches you wanting to give you a hand shake. The sticky moment is the dilemma between shaking his hand or choosing not too. A sticky moment can lead to the sticky shake.

Friend1: What's up homey? (attempts to shake hands)
Friend2: Nah dog, you almost ended up on the wrong end of a sticky moment.
Friend1: Wash your hands you bastard!

A Shadowman Moment is when someone or something suddenly abandons everything and everyone without any explanation.

Edd: Wow, Jake really just disappeared like that with no trace or explanation.

Hippocampus moment

That moment you reach a place and realise exactly where you are. It reflects the moment where your hippocampus (the brain structure involved in memory and navigation which stores maps of the environment you have visited before) recognises that you have been to a place before and merges two cognitive maps together (one map made when you visited in the past and the map made in the present).

I am used to go to the supermarket by taking Broadway, but yesterday I was on South street and reached the supermarket. I had a hippocampus moment! I realised South street leads to broadway!
