To do something reckless or nonsensical without any regard for consequences or common sense. Often associated with a quirky or offbeat personality, an obsession with Taylor Swift, a dislike of Corgis, and/or being from Iowa. Can also refer to starting a fire for fun or excitement, despite the risks involved.

Will: "Really? I would never expect him of all people."

In this scenario Carter was dumped and went to pull a Richard.
