'Torta face' is a term that originates from Hispanic communities in the United States. It describes someone with the following features:
1.) a tall, narrow, pointy forehead
2.) a long face, which may also be wide, with high cheekbones
3.) a long, pointy chin
This combination of features gives someone a distinctly oval-shaped face. It resembles the pointed oval shape of a torta sandwich bun.
Examples of torta faces would include Jennifer Lopez, the Disney character Pocahontas, supermodel Riyo Mori, or the pornstar Asa Akira.
Although anyone can have a torta face, it seems to be especially common in women with Native American ancestry, which includes a lot of Latin American women.
It's also extremely common in women from Eastern Asian countries like Japan, China, Vietnam, etc. It's seen in Oceanic countries like Fiji, as well.
This isn't to be confused with the Spanish insults, 'torta' and 'cara de torta', which refer to an overweight or obese woman, whose body and face are shaped like a torta *pie* rather than a torta *sandwich*.
You see, 'torta face' isn't an insult. It's more akin to a neutral nickname, and doesn't refer to a fat woman.
