Alongside the rising popularity of phrases like, "that was dope!" it became a piggin equivalent, used as a description, encompassing anything awesome in nature.

sleep dope

Cannabis that is used primarily for inducing a better sleep for its user. It is almost always found in edible form so as not to cause any sort of euphoria that THC induces. Sleep dope is most often a combination of CBD and THC. The THC, which is the part of the cannabis plant that gets one "high" is often found in very small dosages.
