Relational Dexterity

Skill and grace with respect to human relationships. The ability to relate to many different people- from many different backgrounds and ways of life- with skill and ease. To be able to connect to others skillfully, flexibly and inclusively.

I am trying to support the co-creation of a world where there is more relational dexterity. That is, where our ability to relate is not limited to our habitual patterns of relating, or relating only to those who come from the perspectives that we can identify with, but where we are able to skillfully relate to all kinds of people, from all walks of life. If we can achieve this, then we will tear down the walls between us and build bridges grounded in our shared human experience.

Relatlovia

Relatlovia is the fear of relationships and being w someone else. I made up this name because I could not find any name for this. I have a fear of this and have anxiety when it comes to this stuff. I will like someone so much, but right when they like me I freak and stop liking them. I also will only really want someone when they are taken, as in I can not have them. When I think about being with someone or having a relationship I have many reactions. My stomach gets butterflies, I get goosebumps, and my heart will beat really fast. This is SOMETHING i can control, and I have talked to my best friend and I think with time it will get better. Advice to those who feel the same: -life is to short, so spend it with those who make you happy.

-love isn’t something to be scared of, although I have this ideal that I am scared of this stuff I think I just don’t want to admit that I could be hurt by those around me.

Relationship

Pointless if you're 18 or under. Parents are all over you and your significant other. Just how it goes at this age, parents worry too much about their child getting involved in something they wouldn't want them to. Is just parents being paranoid at end of day
