Get the on the way backmug. I've heard this used on CNN a couple of times. "Back story" is used when talking about a breaking news story, when the rest of the story isn't clear. "What is the back-story on the train crash?" Meaning how many were on the train. When did it leave, and how fast was it going?

Get the splash backmug. Completely meaningless phrase which has gained inexplicable global popularity. It's an incomplete thought: Back in what day? It's a redundant way of saying "Once, I..." or "I used to..." and adds words without adding any extra meaning. Similar to the equally pointless "at the end of the day..." popularised by English soccer stars.
