Adam Morrison

The best college basketball player of 2005-06. Attends Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. Starting forward, #3, attended Mead High School in Spokane. Adam is the most emotional and intense player in the game. Compare to Larry Bird's shooting style. High release, can score from anywhere on the court. As a freshman, he averaged 10 points per game after not receiving a scholarship to any school but GU. As a sophomore, he averaged 19 ppg. Then as a junior in 2005-06, he averaged over 28 ppg and led the nation in scoring and led the team to the NCAA tournament all 3 years, and the WCC championship all 3 years. Has lost 2 conference games in his career, and has won currently 40 games in a row at home.

He posted better FG%, 3pt%, PPG, and RPG than JJ Redick of Duke, his closest competition for Player of the Year. Adam is a diabetic, but manages to thrive on the court. With his long, floppy hair, thin mustache, and striped tube socks, Adam does not look like a baller, but the 6'8" Morrison puts up huge numbers.

Career high 44 points vs LMU in 2006, 37 in 2nd half on 8-10 three point shooting in that half.
43 points vs UW and Michigan State.

A poet, a revolutionary, best known as the leader of the 1960s rock band "The Doors". Often considered to be the original Kurt Cobain.

Although smart and talented, Jim was drawn into the world of drugs like so many other rock stars. Many speculate this was the cause of his tragic death at only 27.

Although gone Jim's legacy remains and inspires many to this day.

Jim Morrison was no ordinary rockstar. He was the Robert Frost of rockstars.
