What guys or girls do to people they're undecided about by stringing them along making occasional contact but not consistently acting interested.

I knew I was put on the back burner when he asked me out for the following weekend, then seemed confused when I called a few days later to confirm.

1) One who burns rice. 2) Stovetop heat generator manufactured specifically for over-cooking rice. 3) Modified import economy cars. Modifications might include suspension, engine, exhaust or visual modifications. Roughly 2% of the cars taking part in this phenomenom are true performance machines. The remaining 98% are made up of strictly superficial modifications and are just sad attemps that do little more than show the need of the driver to stand out from, and above, their peers. Unfortunately their efforts generate the opposite effect.

Bunberrying

From the play "The Importance of Being Earnest" written by Oscar Wilde. It comes specifically from one of the main characters who has an imaginary "friend", Mr. Bunberry, who he uses as an excuse to get out of town and get into mischief.

Algernon and Jack discover that they have both been "Bunberrying", that is, assuming different identities in order to enjoy themselves in a guilt-free manner.
