The creator known to most as Dan Za's in the downtown Madison campus created the shot 2 years ago as a guest bartender at a local club called Blue Velvet. The shot has become quite popular with increasing popularity among students attending the University of Madison. Considered the new "608" shot of Madison, many local bartenders are seeing increased orders of the fruity bomb shot. The Shots are made of Grape Vodka, Citrus Vodka, Orange Vodka, pineapple juice, grapefruit juice, and grenadine. The shot is chilled and made to be around 3 oz's. Its recent success as a bomb shot has been popular among students because the lack of an energy drink, while still helping students become intoxicated quickly.
