Interjection that may emphasize an annoying thing, particularly one that is noted after a piece of positive or neutral news (a "downer"). Made popular by the Debbie Downer character on "Saturday Night Live". Usually the first word is said with a high tone, and the second word with a lower tone.

Barb: Look, Bob proposed! Look at this beautiful diamond ring he bought me!
