Sorry I'm late for work, but I had to go to the chemist and buy a litre of Visine; my jerk boyfriend gave me a Sergeant Twinkle this morning.

Similar to jazz hands, except with wiggled fingers rather than shaken wrists.
Can also refer to both done simultaneously (even though that's bloody hard to do).
Denotes that something is magical or special.

*raises arms in front of him a shoulderwidth apart, tilts them slightly for campness, and wiggles fingers as fast as possible to denote that something is magic or special - twinkle fingers!*

Generic sign language gesture in which both hands are extended forward with fingers pointing down and softly flagellated (i.e. twinkled). Indicates general disapproval. This is the negative corollary to "twinkle fingers", an indication of support. Both gestures were popularized during the "Occupy" protest movement of 2011.

(southern U.S. slang)
A derogatory term describing a person, typically a female, who is a self-proclaimed master or guide to the spiritual arts. In reality, they are either scammers preying on the unwitting, or delusional hacks that believe their own nonsense. An example of this would be a white woman posing as a Native American, running a shop selling "authentic tribal goods."
Another example is a fake "martial arts master" or "spiritual guru" who cons students into learning an unrealistic fighting art and teaches techniques that are fraudulent and will be detrimental to the user in a combat scenario. (see also: bullshido)
