Booze Snooze

Booze Snooze is the phrase said when someone falls asleep whilst under the influence.

They are not passed out, just lethargic and drowsy . However find themselves asleep.

At a party-

John: "Hahaha, look at Jebidiah! It's only 10:30 and hes already passed out!"

Joanne: "No he hasn't! He's simply having himself a Booze Snooze!"

when you completely turn off your alarm clock and tell yourself that you'll get out of bed in a minute, hoping that you don't fall back asleep and end up late for work or school.

I turned off my alarm clock and ended up manual snoozing until 6:55, so I didn't have time to shower before work.

snooze operator

The partner in a relationship who is awarded the task of operating the alarm clock and thus becoming the snooze operator. This can either be beneficial or detrimental to either or both parties especially if the operator has a penchant for multiple morning snoozes.

"Jeez honey, I am going to be late for work, you are a terrible "snooze operator"!"

Snooze Gas

The gaseous substance released from a cat upon your lap. This will usually cause one to fall asleep, hence the name.
(Past tense verb: “snooze gassed.”)
(Alternatively, a cat can be a “snooze gasser.”)

1. He fell asleep when Sprinkles hopped up in his lap and gave him the snooze gas.
2. She’s been sleeping there all day ever since Mittens snooze gassed her.
3. Petunia is a huge snooze gasser. She’ll sit in my lap at 5pm and I’ll fall asleep til 7am.
