stoner 

A noun which refers to someone who smokes marijuana habitually, compulsively, or recreationally. The nature of the stoner is that he or she may attend to any task or responsibility as though they weren't under the influence of any foreign substance, ie. driving, voting, taking a test, watching somebody's boat until they return, etc.

Stoners may be seen enjoying all the activities of non-stoners, but sincerely believing that they are enjoying the activities to a much greater extent. The reality of this can't be verified, since it is subjective, but the individual may display childlike enjoyment and unusual zeal, which is an indication of heightened pleasure.

Man 1: Wow, you really seemed to enjoy playing laser tag, much more so than any of the other adults, you seemed like a child out there.

Man 2: Oh man, that was soooo fun, I felt like I was in a gun battle in space!!! It was totally worth the price!!

Man 1: What's that strange odor?

A stoner is a person who smokes weed often. These people usually tend to enjoy life more then someone who doesn't smoke. They also are usually very laid back people. Stoner's enjoy music more also.

anyone who smokes weed can be a stoner. a straight A student or a homeless guy. people think stoners are the scum of earth and live in sqats etc. which is harsh as weed chills you out and you have a laugh. never seen anyone be violent on weed. but when people drink its fights fights fight. Make weed legal and the world would be a better place!

Stoner 

Someone who enjoys smoking a lot of bud and toking it up with friends, not to be mistaken with a pothead. A stoner gets high and enjoys it, a pothead tells everyone who they can get within earshot with.

Stoner
1.) Is honored to load the bowl or roll the joint
2.) will blaze a friend who muches no matter what
3.) Can make a bong out of anything
4.) Has code words and can act cool in a public situation
5.) has a creed that they follow

Pothead
1.) Brags about how high they get
2.) Doesnt let anyone smoke with them that dont bring bud or cash
3.) need instructions to make a bong and stupidly google it
4.) Freak out in public situations and yell out each others names
5.) Basically its a fight for your own, if you lose shut up

Pothead 1: Dude you didnt bring any weed!? no way you can smoke with me (insert name here)

The word "stoner" is commonly used to describe someone who smokes marijuana or hash on a regular basis. Stoners consider themselves to be friendly, fun-loving, non-judgemental, and harmless. Rarely mentioned, however, is how lazy, worthless, annoying, flakey, boring and unproductive a good 95% of them are. A common phrase used among stoners is "I don't need weed to have fun", yet strangely you never see them go a day without it.

Stoners, in their "enlightened" state, are the first to speak out against controversial issues and injustices but the very last to ever lift a finger over it. Most (but not all) tend to resemble the character Shaggy from the cartoon show Scooby Doo in either looks or general behaviour. A stoner will tell you how great a sense of humor he has, but usually laughs at things that are not truly that funny in a sober state of mind.

When confronted about their overall worthlessness, stoners vehemently deny that smoking weed makes them losers or hinders success in life. While some successful people DO indeed smoke marijuana, they are usually not actually stoners, meaning they partake only occassionaly and not as a lifestyle. The few stoners who ARE successful and live fulfilling lives are a rare breed, and not truly representative of what it is to be a stoner. Unbeknownst to them, there is a difference between a pot smoker and a full-out stoner.

If you are a stoner, you should be ashamed of yourself and extinguish your joint on your own exposed flesh immediately. Aim higher, get a girlfriend, find a new hobby, and get a decent job. Then when you discover better things in life, you'll finally figure out why everyone looked down on you.

Stoners believe that smoking weed likens them to famous figures such as Jimi Hendrix, 50 Cent, Ali G, Johnny Knoxville, Bill Clinton, Cheech & Chong and Bob Marley. Guess what? It doesn't.
