Mamita

An endearing term used to show affection for a female. Usually used by a latino and/or directed towards a latina. Most common in family situations, or between best friends who consider each other closer than family.

Can also be used to describe a young female, like the way Bernie Mac calls his youngest neice "baby girl". The mature version would be "mami".

"Mamita vete pa' la cama, te ves cansada."
(Baby girl go to bed, you look tired.)

"Mamita, pon la mesa, por favor."
(Sweetheart, set the table, please.)

"Mamita! Donde estas?"
(Hey you! Where you at?)

"Aye mamita...por que siempre te metes en problemas?"

hick mamma

White, trailer trash female, often with a hot temper. Usually found around her trailer or driving a trashy, beat-up automobile with several grimy kids running around and another she's carrying in one hand while she holds her cigarette in the other (free) hand. Most common in the Southeastern U.S. Married to some Bubba type most likely.
