Flow

A hockey term referring to a players hair. Long hair coming out of the back of a players helmet. When the player is skating you see his locks blowing in the wind. It is also sometimes referred to as lettuce.

EXAMPLE 1
Erik Karlsson has the best flow in the NHL.

EXAMPLE 2
That guy has luscious flow coming out of his helmet.

A hairstyle for men in which the hair, preferably wavy or curly, is worn long and swept back behind the ears.

Most often worn with a hat so that the back of the hair "flows" from underneath.

Depsite claims from the hockey and lacrosse communities to have started the trend, flows were first popularized by baseball players across the US.

Ex:

"Did you see deGrom pitch last night?"
"Yeah, dude's flow is sick."

"Bro, your hair is long ass hell, flow that shit."

"Dansby Swanson is the #FlowGod for real."

A slang term based off a man named RJ, who went by the name of Flow.

The word "flow" describes a dudebro (hyper masculine men who act like middle school boys) who enjoys making a series of rather problematic jokes. These men are known for sending hardcore porn to others, is extremely racist, and out of pocket.

Men like this enjoy describing themselves as "Slave Masters" and typically have loyal disciples that get bullied by these flow men on a daily basis.

flow theory

a term that was coined by the mapper "7v" for the rhythm game "osu!", referring to how well individual objects on the playfield connect with each other. in a nutshell each object on the playfield will have its own "flow". flow theory basically delves into how the "flow" of these objects can be used in tandem with other elements such as visuals to better represent the music.

You: "Hey, how do I make a good osu! map?"
osu! mapper: "You need flow theory."
