Déjà VR

The phenomenon when a virtual reality user visits a destination that they have previously visited in a virtual environment and feels a sense of familiarity despite no real physical connection.

I was shark diving in the Caribbean and experienced Déjà VR when I realized I had been in that same shark cage four years earlier at the age of ten when wearing a virtual headset with my cat on my lap in my 1970s low-lit basement.
